The International Journal of Volunteer Administration (The IJOVA) is a professional peer-reviewed publication of The Department of 4-H Youth Development and Family and Consumer Science at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. Three electronic issues are published annually (i.e., no print format is available). The IJOVA is a professional not-for-profit service of the Department in recognition of the critical role of professional managers of volunteers in mobilizing human resources to address serious human, community, and social needs through volunteerism.
The six issues of The IJOVA’s first Volume XXIV (2006-2007) are public domain and available completely free of charge at www.ijova.org. However, The IJOVA receives no University or professional association funding to support its operations. Consequently, full articles in all subsequent issues may be accessed only through a paid subscription.
The IJOVA invites you to subscribe at the nominal cost of $40.00 USD for an Individual Subscription, or $300.00 USD for a municipal or school/college/university Library Subscription. An annual subscription is for a calendar year and provides access to all new issues published during that year, as well as all past issues. Subscriptions are payable by personal/organizational check, money order, or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express; sorry, but Discover is not accepted). To subscribe, simply complete the appropriate Subscription Form and return to the address listed on the Form itself.
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an e-mailed receipt and a User Name and Password that will allow you access to both the current year’s volume/issues as well as all past volumes/issues. Library subscribers receive a User Name and Password that mat be entered onto all personal computers in the library facility. For both individual and library subscribers, once the current year’s User Name and Password are entered into a specific personal computer and used once to access The IJOVA, the personal computer will remember the information as a “cookie”, and it will not need to be re-entered on subsequent visits to The IJOVA web site (unless all cookies are deleted/cleaned from the personal computer’s memory).
If you are interested in discussing a special negotiated, discounted subscription rate for multiple members of a not-for-profit organization or professional association, please contact the Editor: Ryan J. Schmiesing, Ph.D., Director and Editor-In-Chief, Tel. 614.688.4278, E-mail: schmiesing.3@cfaes.osu.edu
